In addition to creating beautifully crafted new signs, Signlanguage can make your aged, weather-worn or damaged sign look like brand new again. The exposure of a typical external sign to weather, traffic or other damage usually means a sign is ready for an overhaul after 10-12 years.
Our process for restoring worn and damaged signs utilizes the same materials and steps as a brand new sign. First, your sign will be carefully cleaned and stripped of any cosmetic or material-based deficiencies. Next, any damaged areas are completely refurbished. Finally, your sign will receive several layers of high-quality primer, paints and finishes. If 23k Gold Leaf is present and worn, it is reapplied at the same level as when the sign was first made.
Cost - And the good news…Restoration is usually around one third to one half the cost of a new sign.
